I'm constantly editing these values to make them correct. Safe HMD FOV mode helps a bit.Īnything special?: HUD out of your field of view. (SoC with AMK) Gameplay videoĪnything special?: HUD, inventory and chat with NPCs is out of your field of view/too big to see everything. (CoP with Misery 2) Gameplay videoĪnything special?: Same things that with SoC. Put "r_waterdrawreflection 0" to console if water looks buggy (might require alt+tabbing to get it work).
TRIDEF 3D KEY WINDOWS
Mouse sensitivity should be at minimum.Īnything special?: Enable "Raw data" from mouse options.Īnything special?: Enable "Ignore Windows mouse speed". Contains also lot of jumping, climbing, rolling etc. Disable v-sync.Īnything special?: Contains lots of cutscenes which take control of your camera. Mouse sensitivity: a little under defaultĪnything special?: Enable "Raw mouse input" and disable "mouse acceleration" from options. Game doesn't like Fraps, changing 3D on and off or alt+tabbing.Īnything special?: Fps dropped to 30-40 in bases with lowest settings possible. If head roll squeezes the world, try setting Image Stretch to 0.
TRIDEF 3D KEY PATCH
HUD not visible.įallout 3 (with unofficial patch and couple graphic mods) Search for FALLOUT.ini file in /My Documents/my games/Fallout3 and search for these lines and change them to make the Pip-boy, terminals and HP&AP visible: fPipboy1stPersonFOV=25.0 fRenderedTerminalFOV=0.5 iSafeZoneXWide=235 iSafeZoneYWide=110 iSafeZoneX=150 iSafeZoneY=120Īnything special?: Launch with -dx9 in launch settings. If you have fps problems, reduce the view distance from game settings.Īnything special?: Water is buggy. With k and l (or whatever keys you used) correct the fov. Launch Morrowind through TriDef 3D and set the Tridef settings. Open up Morrowind.ini from your Morrowind folder and change "Font 0=Magic_Cards_Regular" to "Font 0=century_gothic_big" You can then close the MGEXEgui and it'll save the settings and use them when you run Morrowind. Open "Macro editor" and bind some keys (I use k and l) to increase and decrease fov. From "In-game"-tab check "Disable internal MWSE" and "Crosshair autohide". Keep Distant Land disabled, it doesn't work with Rift. You need to have Morrowind with Tribunal and Bloodmoon installed.

Here are the instructions to set everything up like in third video: 3D and headtracking work perfectly, but there are still couple problems, see "Anything special". The Elder Scrolls: Morrowind Gameplay video 1 Gameplay video 2 (different lightning mode) Gameplay video 3 (playable settings) This requires some work but as one of my favourite games I try to make it as playable as possible. Lots of stairs and hills, some might get motionsick. Water is buggy, but some of the reflections can be turned off by typing "r_WaterDrawReflection 0" and "r_WaterDrawRefraction 0" into console (may require alt-tabbing to get it work). Turn on developers console, open it and type "sv_cheats 1" and "fov_desired 120". Mouse acceleration and head-tracking is buggy with fast turning.Īnything special?: Enable "Ignore Windows mouse speed". Add "mm_hud_displaystealth 0" to console if you wish to turn the crosshair off. Because of the huge FoV, some objects and walls might disappear at the edges of your vision. Looking up and down moves your whole characters upper body, might feel weird.ĭark Messiah of Might and Magic Gameplay videoĪnything special?: Head bob is pretty wild, you can disable it from options. Had to change to lowest possible settings with 1280x800 to get 50-60fps. Game FoV: 110 (110 also from game options)Īnything special?: For some reason very demanding. Sometimes cutscene that takes control of your camera. So if the head-tracking starts to act weird try to press the FOV button.Īnything special?: Disable Shadow Maps and High Detail Shaders because they really don't work with Rift.Ĭall of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the EarthĪnything special?: Some insanity effects on your screen. Remember: after zooming, loading a save or proceeding to next level the FOV resets. When you start playing press the button you bound to disable the mouse acceleration (J in the guide) and the button you bound to change the FOV. Remember that you navigate the TriDef menu with most of the numpad numbers, but number 7 is free.
TRIDEF 3D KEY HOW TO
PCGamingWiki's guide will guide you how to disable the mouse acceleration. The mouse acceleration+FOV really breakes the Rift head-tracking. Put -dx9 in launch options (and -nointro if you wish to skip the intro).

If you can, always try to set the Fov from game settings to as high as you can (120 should be enough)! If you want to set up Tridef yourself, here are the instructions. You can also post your settings or comment on those that are on the list. These aren't perfect but they're as good as I got them. I'd like to share some optimal settings I've been playing with.
